The Sunway Lost World of  Tambun. Have you heard of it?  You would probably have heard of the place some years ago before it quickly got lost through the many openings of greater, more exciting theme parks  nearby. But The Sunway Lost World of Tambun located in Perak is considered a well-kept secret that has just recently revealed its glorious contents for the public to enjoy!

Sunway Lost World Of Tambun is an action packed, wholesome family adventure destination. This self-contained wonderland is cocooned within a lush tropical jungle consisting of natural hot springs, breathtaking limestone features and natural surroundings dating back over 400 million years! Painstakingly etched into this natural heritage are seven amazing attraction parks, coined by locals and foreigners alike to be the ultimate day and night destination for a unique family-friendly eco-adventure excursion.

Just a stone throw away is the Lost World Hotel, a perfect respite and snooze chamber after a long day of adventure. True to its name, Sunway Lost World of Tambun offers not only a “lost paradise” that promises fun and wholesome experience for all ages, but also a conducive learning environment with a range of fun-educational elements around the park.

It is the only theme park in Southeast Asia featuring natural hot springs coupled with an array of contemporary attractions and rides. Business entities and MICE groups will also find this resort a haven for team building activities, given its facilities which include seven specially curated functions rooms which offer a capacity ranging from 10 to 200 people.

A hidden gem within Malaysia, Sunway Lost World Of Tambun successfully converts what was previously a tin-mining wasteland into an iconic landmark, without encroaching into its natural surroundings – a site that’s historic, educational and entertaining at the same time, making it a must-visit site, unlike any other within the Southeast Asian region. This, among many others, truly befits Sunway Lost World of Tambun’s mantra of being “More Than Just A Theme Park!”

Camping is another choice fun for holiday-makers .  It brings people together while creating memorable adventures. It is also a great way to make new friends and get to know the great outdoors. Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT), an action packed, wholesome family adventure destination recently hosted ‘Camping Under The Stars’, an annual three-day and two-night outdoor camping event to enrich the lives of children aged 7 to 12 years during the school holidays.

LWOT hosted 64 young campers, putting them through a series of activities that tested their mental and psychical capabilities. Campers had to create their own animal masks from scratch, unfolding their inner creativity to disguise themselves as one of their favourite animal. Teamwork was also put to the test with the 6th Mile Tunnel Exploration where participants had to take on a journey that challenged their senses and worked together towards the end of the tunnel!

The younger campers went through various obstacles through the Jungle Adventure Challenge to test their physical capabilities and were tested on their animal knowledge on Kranium Krushers: Animal Jigsaw – which was designed to develop their logical thinking skills, concentration, attention visual and spatial thinking.

“This is a great way to spend the school holidays to break-free from technology and connect with nature, explore the great outdoors while learning about sustainability in a hands-on, fun way. Through this program, our young campers had the opportunity to create long lasting memories with new friends. We hope to educate them from an early age to take on new responsibilities, learn about the environment, develop better interpersonal skills and be more independent. What a natural way to spend the holidays!” said Nurul Nuzairi, General Manager of Lost World Of Tambun.
